Native to Asia, Strawberry Begonia is also popular as a hanging plant. It can tolerate a range of humidity levels, including average household levels, making it great for beginner plant lovers. Care is straightforward! Be sure to avoid letting water sit on its leaves and fertilize it every two weeks or once a month. Lighting needs are flexible: it can grow in moderate lighting, but appreciates bright spots as long as its partially shaded or filtered. When kept as a houseplant, allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings and use a potting mix with aerating ingredients like perlite.
