Aglaonema 'Beauty' is a striking cultivar of Aglaonema, a genus known for its lush foliage and adaptability to indoor environments. This particular variety is cherished for its vibrant, colourful leaves that display a combination of rich reds, pinks, and greens. Native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, Aglaonema thrives in warm, humid environments, making it an excellent houseplant.

Young plants may show little red at first, with the colour becoming stronger and more defined as the leaves mature.

Distinctive Features

  • Dazzling Foliage: Aglaonema 'Beauty' is known for its bright red or pink-hued leaves, often bordered by contrasting green speckles, making it a standout among indoor plants.
  • Compact Growth: It maintains a bushy, low-growing habit, making it ideal for tabletops, shelves, or small spaces.
  • Low Maintenance: Like other Aglaonema varieties, it is forgiving of neglect and can adapt to various indoor conditions.

Care Tips

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions.
  • Water: Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between watering. Overwatering may lead to root rot.
  • Humidity: Thrives in high humidity but can adapt to average household humidity levels.
  • Media: A well-draining potting mix with peat or perlite works best.
  • Temperature: Keep temperatures between 18°C - 27°C; avoid exposure to cold drafts.
  • Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 4-6 weeks during the growing season.
  • Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years to refresh the soil and encourage continued growth.

Additional Notes

  • Toxicity: Like many Aglaonema species, it contains calcium oxalate crystals, which are toxic if ingested by pets or humans.

Works Great & Very Practical for Indoor Potty Training
Pattern Name: Detachable high wall
I really love this pee pad tray. We have a similar one from another retailer that has worked well, and I wanted a second tray for our multi-story home. My puppy had no trouble using this right away since he’s already trained to use a pad when we’re not able to take him out. The design keeps his paws dry, which I appreciate, and it even came with wee pads included. The splash guard is a nice touch for male dogs my puppy isn’t lifting his leg yet, but it will definitely be useful later on. Just a note: if your dog tends to have softer stools, cleaning the small holes in the tray might take a little extra effort. For us, that hasn’t been an issue, and the tray is easy to rinse off when needed. Overall, this is a much cleaner and more reliable option compared to indoor grass pads or loose training pads that some puppies chew up. I’m really happy with it and would recommend it.

Reliable, No‑Mess Pads That Actually Work
Size: X-Large, Style: 40 Count
I’ve tried a bunch of different puppy pads, but these Amazon Basics ones are easily the most reliable. The 5‑layer design really does make a difference—no leaking, no soggy spots, and the quick‑dry top layer keeps my puppy from tracking wet footprints around the house. They absorb way more than I expected, and the plastic backing has never let anything seep through to the floor. The size is perfect for daily training, and the pads stay flat instead of bunching up. My puppy took to them right away, and cleanup is super easy. For the price and the quality, these are honestly the best value pads I’ve found. Highly recommend for puppies, small dogs, or even senior dogs who need a little extra help.

They're okay-ish. Not suitable for a lot of liquid.
Size: Regular, Style: 100 Count
I use these for my opossums. They work okay-ish, but I continue to use them for the quantity and price. They're not very large animals. Make sure you are changing them out after a single pee. These really can not handle a lot of liquid. My girls both refused litter training, and so puppy pads are my only option. If your animal has large pees, I do not recommend these because it will not be able to absorb it all, and you're gonna have a mess! Thats the word I have been looking for. They can't absorb a large amount of liquid.
