The Vala is built on the Bosch Performance Line CS Motor (600Wh), and the 85 Nm torque and 600 watts peak power delivers supremely smooth acceleration and overall performance in a clean, seamless package. The 150mm / 160mm travel and an improved 4-bar suspension design provides the signature Santa Cruz suspension feel that straddles the line between stability and agility. This line is also influenced by a mixed wheel setup with the 29" front wheel offering excellent roll-over capability and tracking through the roughest of terrain, and the 27.5" rear wheel ensures a snappy response from the rear end when maneuvering around on tech. The Vala is the sweet spot for riders looking for a full-power e-MTB that holds its own on gnarly backcountry trails, and lets loose on the flow-focused resort singletrack.
