The Car:

Our BMW E46 320i Coupe is the ideal progression from the Mini Cooper race car and perfect for those wanting to a sample rear wheel drive platform on track!  The BMW features a silky smooth 2.2 litre straight 6 engine producing 180bhp. It has racing bucket seats, four point safety harnesses, stripped out & lightened interior, uprated suspension and brakes, racing exhaust and air intake, modified ECU and sticky track tyres, 

The BMW is a perfect car to learn rear wheel drive handling characteristics in a safe environment.  It's not too fast as to be daunting but fast enough to keep you entertained, especially in the wet!...and when driven well, it's quicker than most cars out there! 

One of the added bonuses of learning to drive a car on the limit on track is that it will make you a better, safer driver on the road. Understanding how a car reacts in understeer and oversteer situations and how you can influence the outcome when you reach the limits of grip is an incredibly useful skill to have.

With the arrive & drive package your instructor will have plenty of time to assess your driving and will be able to offer detailed advice on all aspects of your track driving. Initially your instructor will sit in the passenger seat while you drive. In certain circumstances it may be beneficial to your tuition for the instructor to drive for a lap or two to illustrate certain certain points. Your instructor will continue to be available for the remainder of your session.

Our arrive & drive packages are great if you’re serious about improving your driving or if you want to get out on track but don't have access to a suitable car. It's a great way to experience a trackday for the first time, safe in the knowledge that you have a seasoned professional beside you the whole time! 

Seat Time:

Our Arrive and Drive packages offer more seat time than any other driving experience! We offer the packages in either half day or full day.  Track time is as follows:

• 10am Track goes live
• 1pm track closes for lunch
• 2pm track goes live
• 5.30pm track closes

*During winter, track time is reduced to 9.30am-4pm due to available light. 

With any track driving experience, both you and the car will need to take breaks. We operate a 15 on / 15 off policy. After 15 mins on track you will probably start to get a bit hot under the collar, this is when concentration starts to go and mistakes start to happen.  So after 15 mins you can take a break, get a drink and chat with your instructor. We find that a few minutes of down-time really helps to digest what they are trying to teach you.

Also, the car is built to compete in 15 minute races and as such benefits from a cool down period after 15 mins.

Gift Vouchers:

The arrive & drive packages are perfect for gifting. Vouchers to the value of the half day and full day packages are available above and any date can be selected at a later time. Vouchers are valid for 5 years. Just give us a call and we will get you booked in,

Arrive & Drive packages are available for all Mondello Park & Kirkistown trackday dates,  All dates are subject to availability.

Who Can Drive:

Drivers must be over 18, must hold a full driving licence and be capable of driving a manual car. 

Damage Deposit:

*€1500 Damage deposit - payable at the start of the event, and which will be returned at the end of the day when the car is returned undamaged.
