Simply remove the cloth pre-filter from the main carbon filter body. It can be hand-washed with mild detergent and water, or machine-washed on a gentle cycle. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling it.
While its primary function is odor elimination, a carbon filter can help muffle some of the air noise from your fan. For significant noise reduction, we recommend pairing it with a dedicated AC Infinity 6" Duct Silencer.
